I want to archive it here just in case something happens to lj. If you read it keep in mind that this is the way my Buffyverse is. Some friends pointed me that my vision of some characters was out of reality. Specifically, my version of Xander caused some people to gasp because of its harshness. I will be sincere and tell that I dislike Xander a lot but that doesn't mean I'm a Xander hater, I don't care for him to bash. Period. Feel free to disagree with me because I know that every Btvs fan has his/her own version that they like way better than the official one that Joss and team created.<br /><br />~*~*~*~*~*~*~*<br /><br />This is a little experiment I have been wanting to do for ages. Buffy ended four years ago and Angel did three years ago. This is <i>my vision</i> of what the life of the characters is now. It doesn't include spoilers from the Btvs comic S8 because I don't like the canon that Joss Whedon is trying to impose (or imposing as he is the God of the Buffyverse) to us.<br /><br /><a name="cutid1"></a>I'm starting with the core four.<br /><br />1.Buffy Anne Summers<br /><br />She is currently living in London after two years in Rome. Unlike the popular opinion her relationship with the Immortal was real and serious. He is smart, funny, handsome and immensely rich. She enjoyed talking with him as he always listened with an open mind and never judged her for the choices she made. He let her cry on his shoulder and understood her previous relationships, it was inevitable to fall for him.<br /><br />When word came to her that Spike was alive she felt hurt because he didn't contact her right after he became solid again. When they met again things went wrong as usual and they both decided to move on and keep future contacts strictly business.<br /><br />She dumped the Immortal when she knew he kept from her the visit of Angel and Spike during the first months of their relationship. She asked why and he said that he "believed" it wasn't good for her. All the Scoobies thought she was overreacting and all of them but Dawn asked her to reconsider her decision. Buffy didn't, the only thing that aggravates her enough to make her end a relationship, either a friendly or romantic one, is when the other part takes decisions in her behalf. She says that she is a grown up and the only thing she asks from her friends to to treat her with respect, that includes not hidden important information from her.<br /><br />She moved to London when Dawn got accepted in Oxford, she wanted to head back to the States because Spike was living there but she decided that if she wanted to be treated like a big girl she should act like one. Eventually she and Spike started to talk again and they started their romantic relationship less than a year ago. They made the decision of moving in together shortly after. Everyone, but Dawn, thought it was too soon but they were pretty sure that they are meant to be. Their house has a small garden where Buffy spends a lot of time. Not being the Chose One but one of many is a blessing, she has free time and a fat pay check that the Council sends monthly. She only slays when the situation is extreme and she never does it alone, Spike is always at her side. Yes, life is good for Buffy, good friends, a beautiful house and a man that is head over heels for her and who is very talented in bed make our Buffy a happy woman.<br /><br />2. Rupert Giles<br /><br />Currently lives in London and as head of the Council he is in charge of all the big decisions. He was upset when he discovered that the Council's bank accounts were obscenely fat. He was sure that all the resources were used to make sure each Slayer doesn't have to worry about their financial situation ever. <br /><br />He enjoys mentoring younger watchers and he proven more than one that has learn his lessons well. He never makes any unilateral decisions on important matters, he makes sure to listen what his team members have to say. All of this makes the Council a highly efficient organization. Giles has gone far as to hire demon-human hybrids and demons as part of the team. <br /><br />His personal life has improved too, he married two years ago. His wife is a watcher too and he has a great eye for administration which has helped tremendously. They share a big loft in the city but they love to visit her parents house in Devonshire.<br /><br />Something Rupert will never say is that he enjoys Christmas dinners way too much. All his Sunnydale family reunites at his house for dinner, also in attendance are the Slayers who can't travel home for the festivities. The laugher of teens and adults makes his heart warm and fuzzy, but he won't tell. His wife knows though and she loves to play mother hen.<br /><br />3. Willow Rosenberg<br /><br />After the closing of the Hellmouth she and Kennedy settled in London near Willow's coven bu soon they were required by the Council to solve a problem in Brazil. Surprisingly they learn of another Hellmouth there. Willow was in charge of the Slayer team that closed said Hellmouth, sadly Kennedy died in action and Willow was again left alone. She headed back to England and spend a good year in the coven healing, all the Scoobies used to visit her there.<br /><br />Her last trip as member of the coven was to Tibet, she was supposed to be in a monastery to meditate but she found Oz there. They reacquainted and are now best friends, nobody knows if she is going to quit the gay band but she is more at peace now that she has been ever. Sister Alfania says that she may be the next Highest Priestess of the coven, who knows?<br /><br />4. Alexander Harris<br /><br />He has been traveling Africa for years, his job was, till eight months ago, to gather Slayers that reached the age of their calling. He would talk to their families and send them to the nearest Slayer school for training. He refused to train to become a Watcher, he said that the Council needed a civilian point of view and that he wanted to be the one with the opinion.<br /><br />Strangely enough, he is the only one that always has a pretext to reunite with the rest of the Scoobies for birthdays and festivities. And more strange is that he was the Immortal's biggest defender which caused his relationship with Dawn to strain. When Buffy dumped the Immortal he traveled to Rome to talk with Buffy and when Buffy and Spike got in touch for the first time after Spike's resurrection, he also traveled to Rome to remind Buffy that Spike was evil and that probably he had a hidden agenda. He also spend with the rest of the Scoobies the first Christmas just after Spike hooked up with someone else just to remind Buffy that it was obvious that Spike didn't love her as much as he always said. The remark caused Giles to get upset and had a not nice exchange of words with him in private.<br /><br />Secretly Willow and Dawn think that the real reason is that he misses Anya and seeing Spike alive makes him think about why he got back from the dead and Anya didn't. Xander has kept out of touch for months now. After Spike's and Buffy's reunion he has stop calling at all. Buffy still hope that this will change when he realizes that she is happy and that Spike is not evil, but for now some things don't change.<br /><br />So, what do you think? I know that this must look dull to all the fanfic writers in my friend-list.
